Frustrating experience, lack of transparency, and misleading shipping updates
I contacted the seller before purchasing to confirm availability of a specific laptop screen model and explained that I needed it urgently.
Despite this, I received a different model than what was listed and ordered. When I raised the issue, the seller acknowledged they may have sent the wrong item and said they would ship a replacement the same day (24/04), providing a tracking number.
However, the tracking only ever showed “label created” with no movement. After following up on 01/05, I was told it had been shipped and to wait a few days. By 06/05, there was still no update, and the seller then informed me the item was actually out of stock.
Receiving the wrong item alone would not have led me to leave a negative review. The main issue was being repeatedly told that the replacement had been shipped, causing me to monitor the tracking for over 10 days, only to later be informed that the item was actually out of stock.
I ultimately had to resolve the matter through PayPal, which reviewed the evidence and sided in my favour.
Overall, this was a poor experience involving an incorrect item, misleading shipping updates, and unreliable communication. Based on this experience, I would not purchase from this seller again.
